I used a laser pointer and some photoshop know-how to achieve this image. I used a couple of tricks from the bonus tutorial from the portrait week to get the green and purple portions in the image. Other than that I used the crop tool when I was finished at that is it.

I about froze to death taking this image because of the wind and the long shutter speed. In photoshop I put a vignette on the image, and a highpass to keep it sharp.
